Balayage: Highlighting technique for a natural, subtle effect. Colour is hand-painted onto the hair, creating a more graduated, natural effect of dimensional, ribboned colour.

Ombre: Dramatic colour with two contrasting colour sections. Gradually blended from your current base to a contrasting tone on the mids and ends.

Root Drop/Reverse Balayage
Reverse balayage is the "reverse" of balayage by adding lowlights and darker strands instead, usually to reintroduce depth into a blonde, light style. If lowlights are needed there will be a colour bowl charge of $25.

Air Touch
The AirTouch technique uses air, versus teasing/backcombing, to create a seamless blend of color. Attributed to Vladimir Sarbashev, your colorist takes a section of hair with tension on the longest lengths, and uses a blow dryer to push the shorter hairs and internal layers down and out of the way. Color or lightener is then applied on the remaining hair.
The result? Absolutely blended colouring with natural-looking effects, paired with soft, dimension that will survive the grow-out. I am pleased to offer a gloss and blow-dry with this service.
