Alicia has paved her way through the beauty industry through a love of connection to women in her community.
It was only natural to open Beach Bums Hair Studio to nurture her craft.
She is fuelled by the confidence guests experience with fresh new hair.
Alicia is very passionate about trendy hair colouring techniques and continues to grow her craft through continued education each year.
Her 16 years experience have given her the opportunity to grow her skills and help many other young stylists grow their careers.
Alicia has extensive technical colour training with Aveda & Goldwell colour lines, advanced balayage training by some of the best in the biz. Precision cutting courses from some of her favourite stylists. Olaplex & Barbicide Certified. Fully Licensed with the Ontario College Of Trades.
Meagan
**CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE**
Meagan Babando is a Junior Stylist at Beach Bums Hair Studio. She has Graduated and obtained her diploma in hairstyling and has been working at Beach Bums since October, 2021. Meagan grew up locally and enjoys horseback riding and spending time outdoors with her family. Meagan decided to pursue hairstyling when she was not feeling fulfilled with her current employment and was looking for a career where she can be creative and feel accomplished at the end of the day. She likes that hairstyling gives her the opportunity to meet many new individuals and help them feel good about themselves. She enjoys doing short creative cuts such as bob haircuts, pixie cuts and Mens cut's. She has always had an interest in Hairstyling and is always looking for ways to educate herself in the latest hairstyles and trends.
Winter
Winter is a licensed stylist with a diploma in hairstyling from Georgian college and over six years experience.
She has built a fulfilling career through a lot of hard work and willingness to always be learning.
With a vast array of experience, she is enjoying working with colour and creating beautiful lived-in looks and rich dimensional colours. Winter is hard working and meticulous.
She is enjoying her career growth at Beach Bums Hair Studio through many advanced education experiences and the meaningful connections with guests and coworkers.
